Next month my girlfiend and I are going to visit Berlin for a few days
I'm sure there will be plenty of possible shots, e.g. for my 50mm of life series

At last I've decided to subscribe to DA so I can personalize my page a bit more.
Quite satisfying to put all the visual things in a more comfortable order.

And now I have to feed my gallery with some new pictures so the subscription pays off.

After ordering the lens hood for my 50mm f1.8 lens I had the idea to make a photo-series of "standard" or everyday situations. Just plain citylife shot with a 50mm prime lens for a constant view.

I don´t know when I start with that idea, how many photos I will take or what will come out... But it seems a bit challenging to get some nice shots by using a fixed focal length for all that.

Also that´s some pastime until I´m gonna buy a new, better tele-photo lens for some new animal pictures ;D

After two trips to zoos nearby I got really into animal photography.
Also motivated by some positive comments (thank you!) I developed a weakness for lovely animals.

But sadly my tele-lens is quite bad at max. focal length so it will be replaced later this year.
Right now my favourite would be the Canon EF 70-300mm IS USM because of it´s price/value.

Has anyone got that lens and can me show some samples?

It´s been a while since my last journal update.
Since then I didn´t take a lot of pictures because I´m tired of the bad weather.
I think it takes a lot more sunny conditions to get my motivation back

But to put things back into operation I did some organization -> a Lowepro Nova 200 AW camera bag appeared
This makes photo-life a lot easier and less stressful.

Also a new lens has taken its´ place in my collection. It´s the award winning Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 - fully recommended by me! It feels a lot (!) better than the Canon kit lens, the same applies to the image quality.
Alltogether two good investments.
